On the 28th July 2007, The Milton Margai School for the Blind Choir, from Sierra Leone West Africa arrived in the UK. The UK Team went into overdrive. UCAN Volunteer Geoff Ballinger travelled to Dorton House in Seven Oaks and recorded a DVD for their SING FREEDOM Tour.

The Milton Margai School for the Blind Choir arrived in Cardiff on the 4th of August to partake in the UCAN Celebrate 2007 project.
The project was a celebration of the abolition of slavery and an exchange of cultures and ideas.
Young UCAN members from Wales spent a wonderful week with young people of Milton Margai School at the Urdd Centre Cardiff.
Lloyd Coleman said 'This has been the best week of my life' many other members agreed. The young people produced concerts in the Sherman Theatre, Urdd Centre and St Donats Arts Centre. The project was funded by The National Heritage Lottery Fund.

The Milton Margai Choir flew back to West Africa on the 20th August.
